From Idea to Reality: The Journey of Building Our Forge; Brick by Brick. pt 1.

This will be a multi part story, where it begins is pretty simple; where it ends, well I don't even know the answer to that question. But that's the point of every great story or adventure, right? And if my history with Dungeons & Dragons is any indicator, it's the people around you that makes the journey memorable.

For Shan and I the concept was born around five years ago from an unplanned walk up a set of stairs, to a games store in the center of Cairns.

Let me paint the picture...

Its Summer in Cairns and the humidity is enough to make the backs of your fingers sweat. For some reason (now lost to the pains of middle age) we went for a wander after a late breakfast in town. We saw a small unassuming sign depicting a woodland trickster... no one was ever lost climbing stairs in an urban forest as they were beckoned to enter right?
